Fed:Demand for home loans grow for 9th straight month

First time home buyers are still driving demand for new home loans .. taking advantage
of both low mortgage rates and a more generous federal grant.

The latest official data shows first home buyers made up 27 per cent of demand for
new home loans in June.. which rose overall for the ninth consecutive month.
