WA:Suspect on the run after Perth shooting

PERTH, Dec 3 AAP - A 23-year-old man is on the run after a fatal shooting in Perth's north.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the chest outside his Wanneroo home about 9pm (WST) on
Friday and died shortly afterwards in hospital.

Neighbours reported hearing several gunshots on Friday night.

Police said on Saturday they were seeking Hayden Shane Joseph, 23, and wanted to hear
his side of the story.

They said he and another man left the scene of the shooting in a green Ford Explorer
that was later found burnt out near Mundaring in Perth's east.

Joseph was last seen in a white Holden Commodore heading east towards Kalgoorlie or
Esperance, police said.

They warned that he could still be armed.

Joseph is described as being of medium build with tattoos on his forearms.
