ADULT BASIC EDUCATION TO OFFER FREE COMPUTER WORKSHOPS

Western New Mexico University issued the following news release:

The WNMU Adult Basic Education department is offering free WebQuest workshops in June. A WebQuest is described by organizers as an on-line adventure and a fun way to learn computer and writing skills at the same time.

The WebQuests are open to all adults over 18 years of age who want to improve their writing skills, brainstorm better decisions, learn how to locate information on the Internet, learn basic computer skills and Microsoft Word.

WebQuests will be held for six days in June on two Thursdays, two Fridays and two Saturdays. The workshops will be held on June 21-22 and June 28-29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on June 23 and June 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
