Bankruptcy Court to Have Final Say on Thai Petrochemical Plan Administrator.

May 30--Final resolution over the appointment of a new plan administrator for Thai Petrochemical Industry now rested with the court, Finance Minister Suchart Jaovisidha has said.

He said the role of the Finance Ministry in mediating disputes between creditors and TPI was effectively over as both sides failed to reach a mutual agreement on the planner dispute.

The government had proposed appointing a 15-member committee to oversee TPI, with seven representatives each from creditors and the company and one representative from the state.
