Fed: Aid body defends aid agencies reputations

Australia's peak aid body has defended the reputation of overseas aid organisations,
after more reports about agencies doubling as spies for overseas governments.

Australian Council for Overseas Aid director JANET HUNT says aid agencies have strict
codes of conduct and play a very important role, which could be damaged by even the perception
of misconduct.
